Paul Rivinius enjoys an international career as soloist, duo recitalist and chamber musician.

A graduate of the Musikhochschule Munich, Rivinius is prize winner of several prestigious competitions, including the Munich ARD Competition, and has performed as soloist under conductors including Claudio Abbado. As duo partner with his brother, the cellist Gustav Rivinius, he has appeared in television recordings, and on tours throughout Europe, Japan and the United States.

Since 1986, Paul Rivinius has been a member of the Clemente Trio, with whom he won the Caltanisetta International Music Competition and has performed in some of the finest venues in the world including Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall and Wigmore Hall. He joined the Mozart Piano Quartet in 2004.

Paul Rivinius was, for many years, professor of chamber music at the Universität der Künste Berlin and at the Musikhochschule “Hanns Eisler” Berlin.
